Gabriella and Casey's intimate Sunday wedding at The Morehead Inn was something truly magical. It made me fall in love with downtown Charlotte even more than I thought I could.

Tucked away in the hustle of the city is The Morehead Inn. Originally built in 1917 as a private residence and finally transformed into a bed and breakfast in 1984, this is a venue that brings a past era to life. From the stunning wallpaper, to the chandeliers, and gouldian finches, I was convinced that I had traveled back in time to a Gatsby party. The getting ready spaces for both the bride and groom were exquisite. Right above the bridal suite was a long staircase which was perfect for bridal portraits. Not only was the actual inside of the home an architectural masterpiece, but the outside grounds made for endlessly stunning backgrounds.

We couldn't have asked for better weather that day. The sun was out all day, ending with a beautiful sunset which made for the perfect backdrop for bride and groom photos. Gabriella and Casey were a complete joy to work with, they were super laid back and kind. All the traits you wish for in a client.
