What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
A lot of people feel this way. You are not alone. I will do my best to make you comfortable by giving you prompts and actions. My goal is to make your session or wedding day as fun and easy-going as possible. My prompts will involve a lot of movement and fun activities which will help pull those genuine, honest emotions out of you and your partner.
What if there is bad weather?
Fingers crossed for amazing weather always! But mother nature doesn't always provide that. However, overcast days can bring some really nice lighting that can create a different type of mood in your photos. If the weather is bad enough where it could ruin my equipment, create a not so ideal backdrop, or is not what you want, we will reschedule!
Do you provide the unedited RAW image files?
I do not. My goal is to provide you with the best quality photos and without editing them they are only halfway done.
How long will it take to receive our gallery?
I know the anticipation after your session can feel endless—believe me, I completely understand! But I promise the wait will be worth it. For weddings, you'll receive sneak peeks within the first week to tie you over, with your full gallery delivered within 6-8 weeks. Portrait session galleries arrive within 2-3 weeks, giving me time to perfect every detail so your images are absolutely stunning.
What should we wear for photos?
The best outfit is one that makes you feel comfortable and confident! I recommend steering away from busy patterns, overly bright colors, and shades too close to your skin tone—neutral color palettes photograph beautifully and keep the focus on you. Think about the overall vibe you're going for: for a relaxed, casual feel, a nice top with jeans works perfectly. Want something more elevated or dramatic? A bold dress or statement top can create that wow factor.
Do you charge extra for travel fees?
If your wedding or session is over 40 miles from Charlotte, NC there will be a travel fee of $.75/mile added to your package price.
